ROYAL VILLAS NEWSLETTER SUPPLEMENT

March, 2020 Vol. III, No. I

Shape1

WELCOME!

Hello! I am back. I just noticed that RV Management has proven once again just how little they care for the wants of their residents, by reducing the monthly newsletter to one page. They really don’t think we are worthy of having a multi-page newsletter. So I am going to step in once again to fill the void, with your help. Unfortunately, our miserly management won’t support the cost of printing for us, so I will be delivering it by the web. I will publish this at the first of every month, and I will do my best to include items that are of interest to the residents of Royal Villa, which management really doesn’t seem to care about.

With that in mind, I will be relying on you, my readers, to provide me with items to include here. I am looking for stories, ideas for stories, announcements of activities, photographs and anything else you would like to share with your neighbors.

And speaking of sharing, I realize that all of the RV residents aren’t on the Yahoo Newsgroup, so if you know of a neighbor or friend that doesn’t belong to this group, please encourage them to join, or at least, give them the address of this newsletter: www.wirch1.com/newsletter.

Of course all your ideas and submissions should be sent to newsletter@wirch1.com. And because there is really no space restrictions for this newsletter, I can use any and all submissions! Thanks!

Your Editor, Tom Wirch

DShape2 ID YOU GET YOUR LETTER?

Last month, the manager did an inspection of all the properties, and sent out letters, along with pictures of the problems, to all the offending residents. We got ours. And one thing we were cited for was gutters and downspouts that need repairing. I don’t plan on repairing mine until the manager fixes the gutters on the Clubhouse. Have you walked around the Clubhouse during a heavy rain? The gutters and falling down, they leak in several spots, and the manager should clean up her own backyard before she whines to us!

IT'S AN EARLY SPRING!

Have you noticed all the spring flowers that have bloomed already? Our front yard is filled with crocuses and hyacinths. All the flowers in so many yards sure make RV look beautiful! Send me your pictures of your yard!

MORE TO COME

One of the nice things about not committing this newsletter to paper is it gives me the ability to make any changes I want, after it has been published. So when I make any changes, I will post a note to the Yahoo group to let you know about it.

So get me your story ideas, or any other contribution you'd like to see in print, and I'll use them. Also, please send me your ideas on how to improve this newsletter. I'll even publish 'Letters to the Editor,' so let me have 'em!
